Hey John,
Nice rides - had a 300 rental for a week a little while ago. Tons of head room - nice sized seat pans. We were gonna do tints on our cars but after seeing enough bubbly tints on other cars (the adhesive "seems" to let go sometimes) we decided to NOT, what ever we do, apply it ourselves.
You may wanna be real picky in selecting the guys who do the tint. They'll have to know how to deal with the black stuff around the edges of the rear window. As it was explained to me, if you don't know what you're doing, air gets in there and after a while you've got a tint that looks like crap. Ultimately, we decided to leave ours alone (keep it stock) but I'm betting there would be a few dissenting opinions here
Hey ... post a pic when you're done, though. (MR2 must be a blast!)

yeah tinting its a pain to find someone to do a good job but on the up side if you get something in write'n that says if it starts to bubble you should be fine .
on the head room there is plenty of spacefor tall people fit in the car just fine the mr2 on the other hand you better be short or average height and not care to much about head room this is a pic in the middle of her heart operation
i dont have any of the 300m but i'll make sure to get a few up soon i also do all the work on all the cars in the family and 4 or five people on my street
