well actually a fwd car is easier to drive in the rain and snow less of a chance to spin out on accel while turning i have had all kinds yes they all have ups and downs like doing do-nuts in the snow rwd alot easier and spins as well but as well fwd car just hit the e-brake and away ya go. but to sum up its what you get used to is the best if ya drive a rwd car alot you get used to it and if its a fwd car you will learn what ya can and cannot do
i had a mustang gt before and just a touch while turning and away i went but in my pt i can almost hammer it and the tires spin but i dont ya see the dif. so choose wisly young skywalker...(sorry just watched star wars 3 ) lol

My montero does pretty good. The one problem I have the most is the back end coming out on me when I turn if I'm not necessarily speeding, but I'm in a hurry. In AWD, it's not an issue, but all 4 will spin out in the rain if you floor it at a light. The sebring used to do really good because it had a wider wheel base than other cars. The montero got sideways at about 55 in the rain on a two-lane road because I hit a pot-hole during acceleration, and I'm thankful I made it out of that one. I only saved it because of that drift class I took. That was badass... scared the hell out of me though.

Alright, I haven't gotten a response on the Cougar, so I've looked elsewhere. This MB 190E interests me. Reminds me of the Mafia cars. Lol. I called the guy and he said that it's in good condition, but he feels "slipping" and has no idea what the problem may be. What do you guys think of this?

1987 Mercedes-Benz 190 E
Description — $950, MERCEDES-BENZ '87 190e-- 146k mi, white, runs rough, mech. spec., $950, 301-625-9124

Matt, my first car was a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 190D. The car was great for how old it was. Nice leather, sunroof... Mine was a deisel, that thing was SLOW! It could have been fixed up nice, but I got the Intrepid.

Never mind with the Benz. I checked it out today. It had paint coming off everywhere, rust in some spots, it barely started, there was transmission fluid all under it, it had no passanger key hole, no radio, cracked dash, no spoiler, and the interior sucked [:'(]

I think I figured out the slipping problem... lol... I have a Chevy Z71 here for $2500... only problem is the spedometer cable needs to be replaced, for those that know how to do it... it's a $12 problem... could use a paint job... it's a 97 model... if someone doesn't buy it soon, I will... it's 4X4... very nice deal... get a truck matt,... get a truck, a cowboy hat, some wranglers, a couple of tight T-shirts, and some Trace Adkins CD's... then move to Texas, and become a real man...
