this is my car, sheer class
well this is my 91 opel calibra, very few were released into australia. the car was never exported to the us and the only ones there a private imports.
although i cant see why you would compared to the vehivles available unless you liked it purely for looks.
externally it looks like it did when it rolled out of the showroom, it has recently been resprayed through insurance so is bright as but the photos do it no justice!
its a 2.0l 16v DOHC manual engine with a top speed of a bout 235- 240 with very little left.
the car is built for the autobahn... and has had and held the title for best drag co-efficient until toyota recently released the new hybrid prius. which is pretty good imo.
the interior at the moment is also standard. except for a ful led dash, almost every light in the car has been replaced with LEDs.
other then that, preformance and aesthetic mods have been put to a side as i am a student and running a european car has its downsides.
mechanics here are retarded and only like to work on the most common of cars. which doesnt include mine. so when it has a problem more money must be spent in order to make sure the job is done properly, and by the time one problem is fixed its been so long another has sprouted up[:@] its a vicious cycle with my wallet taking all the blows.
anyway here are the pics

nah in km/h, about 170 miles i think. it was resprayed recently which is probly why it looks better then most kicking about.
i scratched it last night which is upsetting
the only one ive seen in the us was badged as a chev. and i beleive that was a personal import and they only did that because thats how the astra was badged.

Awesome car, not my style, but I love the interior! You put some money into that... the whole right side drive would throw me off a bit,.. but I would love to have one,... I dont know about that car though, it's the kind where you're like, thats awesome but I wouldn't drive it, you know what I mean,... I wouldnt look good in it,.. but I do love it..
