Default 92 Lebaron convertible top problems!!

I have had some problems with my convertible top. It will work sometimes and then just stop?? The relays (double relays) will click but motor will not move the top. Does this indicate the relays are bad or the motor?? when it works the motor purrs right along???

well it sounds like the relays and honestly it should be the first thing you replace anyway being the cheapest. do you smell anything from the relays when they just click if so relays

I have a 94 convertible and the motor went out with the top down. I have no owner's manual - how do I get the top up in an emergency? It worked fine till today - I tried to put up and button had no power nothing. It went down earlier today fine.

Thanks

Russ

Dear Russ: look in the trunk, at the round **** on the RH side lookin forward. Turn the **** counterclockwize and that will release the hydralics and U will be able to lift the top by hand. I had a 59 Chrysler Winsor Conv when I was a kid and had to lift the top by hand all the time cause I couldn't afford to replace the motor/hydralics..Pete Walls
